So I went to Nashville yesterday. I really didn't feel like going, but my mom wanted me to go to see how the trip was since I'm doing it by myself in February. I thought I was going to be bored the whole way there but I ended up going with Abe and Elizabeth in their car so we had a lot of fun. We visited this hotel that has like 4 indoor gardens that were absolutely amazing, I'll put some photos up tomorrow. The drive is not hard at all is pretty much straight driving in a highway all the way, but the hard part are the trucks. There's a lot of traffic of big trucks and they drive like maniacs, but it's nothing too hard to handle. I'll get some practice here in Memphis before I go just to be on the safe side. We also went to the mall, which as some people know is not my thing at all. I'm as lazy as they come and walking around looking in every shop bores me to death. So I found a place to sit and turned on my mp3 player while I waited for the rest of the group. We left there and went to the main reason of our trip, a supermarket that sells a lot of latin-american products that you don't find in Memphis. After that the GPS decided to stop working so we had to find our way with maps and we had a little trouble and thought we were lost for a while in the middle of nowhere, in the middle of the night. After that we had a great dinner and it was time to change cars and ride with my parents again. Needless to say I resorted to my mp3 again. We got home at 12 and you have no idea how tired I was. I slept until noon today.
Tomorrow is the first day of school for me. I was excited but now I'm dreading it a bit. This semester I'm having my first couple of classes related to my real career so that makes me a little nervous. The good part is that I get one class with my best friend, so that's good. I think I might also stop by the office where I'll be working to put everything in order and hopefully start soon. Tomorrow I'll tell you a bit more, right now I'm waiting for them to show some good tennis on TV. I love Grand Slams, I'm glad the Australian Open is here.
