So I did this post yesterday, but somehow it disappeared on me, so I guess I have to do it again. I dunno what's up, then again my messenger is messed up again, so... whatever.
So... we started this weekend well with Felipe leading in the practices and then it got a little more complicated when we didn't win the pole. Never fear! Felipe had a beautiful start and Hamilton and Kubica had not-so-good ones which meant the Ferraris were able to move to the front early on.
After that, it was pretty much cruising. I will comment on the Hamilton-Alonso crash... I think it was Hamilton's fault and to be honest I give props to Alonso for driving with that busted up car, because it looked anything but stable.
And what is up with Coulthard? I mean this is his second crash in a similar way. I still think that the one with Massa was his fault, but I will say that this time, Button had some of the blame too, because he hesitated and tried to take in the line when he couldn't.
I won't deny that I usually prefer Kimi to be the leading pilot of the team. But, with the 2 horrible races that Felipe had in Australia and Malaysia, I'm glad that he was able to score a win to stop the rumors going around that he's going to get replaced. A great 1-2 for Ferrari, and Kimi is the championship leader, which makes my heart all excited!
