I've been sick this past couple of days. Isa had the flu and I got it too, I even had a fever a couple of days ago. Andy, Isa, Rob and I are all coming out of it, finally getting rid of the runny noses and sore throats and meanwhile my brother came home early with a fever today and my grandma wasn't feeling well.
My trip home is coming closer and I'm not as sad as I thought I'd be. Yes, I'm gonna miss Andy and the kids most of all, but to be honest, I miss Memphis. I miss my house and my car and having my stuff. I guess that as many years as I lived here growing up... I've been gone long enough for this not to be my home anymore. I'm a guest, a very welcome guest, but still a guest. And it's really not a complaint as much as a feeling I get. It's the feeling that went your time is up, you'll go and people will go back to their normal lives. It doesn't make me sad, or angry... it's just the way it is.
And as horrible as my schedule is gonna be next semester, I'm excited to see more classes in my field and to go back to work again so I can have some cash inflows and go shopping instead of pure outflows for three months.

Everybody is getting sick lately :s a lot of my friends are sick! Thank god I haven't caught anything that's around xD 'cause I'm a bad patient, I get all childish and I even want to cry *lol*
And I don't know that feeling of not feeling my childhood home as my home anymore, but I'd love to feel it. I want to feel like I'm finally on my own living the real world. So you're a lucky person hehe!
