Sunday night catch-up

I haven't posted here in forever, lol. This week was a little crazy adjusting to the new schedule and all. Tuesdays and Thursdays are awful with those three classes, even if I enjoy Marketing and Programming, I hate Database management, though... super dry and boring content, not to mention that I'll have to learn my way through Access again and I hate that program.

Other than that, it's a bit tiring to back and forth to work and class, but it's the only way to keep making the same I was making last semester. But I think I'll be able to work better this semester and help out more in the office.

This weekend is awesome because we have a lot of US Open goodness, lots of cool matches to watch and as usual with Grand Slams, a lot of bonding with my dad. We've been watching a lot of matches together and even got into a conversation with Abe about how much more demanding tennis is these days and that's causing so many injuries. Nadal's got something in his abdomen, Sharapova on her elbow, Venus on her knee, etc... Professionals now demand so much of themselves that they end up injured and it seriously sucks to lose a match over that. They need more strength and more speed to keep up and then play year round with no time to rest... recipe for disaster and that's why every match these days has one of both players injured.

I love that I have tomorrow off and we're probably going to Abe's house for a barbecue. We went today and had lasagna, and I couldn't take my laptop, but I'll definitely take it tomorrow because I have some schoolwork to do... fun, huh?

My medical tests finally got picked up, by my mom's best friend not my sister, and everything is perfect. I think a lot of my family is surprised and I don't know how I feel about that. I am, however, very glad that everything turned out okay because I don't have to worry about treatments or anything like that and just try to exercise a little more here and there and maybe try and cut down on the snacks.
